Inglourious Basterds

I enjoyed last night. Last night felt like a real date. Last night easy conversation flowed between us. The gentle sea breeze on my face, his love in my company, there could be nothing better.

It’s a good way to start the week. As crazy as this period has been for me, I’m incredibly happy. It’s Monday and I’m happy. 🙂

He remarked yesterday, “If we have children together, they will be beautiful.” I was stunned by the references to the future. With no better response, I tell him of my fear of having ugly children after I once remarked that someone’s child looked like a troll doll. Hah. Awkward. But whatever it was, it was a memorable night. I didn’t care if we didn’t make it for the movie, because I could spend eternity frozen in those moments. It isn’t everyday we have conversations like that,  it isn’t everyday he opens up and when he does, I don’t want it to end.

We were an hour late for the movie eventually, but it didn’t matter. What mattered – the sweet memory of our evening. (Inglourious basterds was a real hit though, thoroughly enjoyed it!) Wishing for more evenings like these.
